Evening of Songs
Love and Grief
with Saskia Breithardt
7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
We are delighted to invite you to a very special evening of songs with Saskia, where she will present her deeply moving and self-written songs. Saskia’s music reflects her long-standing passion for singing and instrumental music, which has gained even deeper meaning for her through her own songwriting in recent years.
Her songs invite us to create spaces for authentic connections – with ourselves, with each other, and with the forces that carry us through moments when things seem difficult. Saskia is particularly inspired by offering her music as a support for ritual work and shared grieving.
To give others the opportunity to experience these songs outside of rituals, we warmly invite you to come with your loved ones or alone. This is also a celebratory moment for Saskia’s album, LOVE AND GRIEF, which will soon be publicly available.
On this evening, Janna Schneewitta Rehbein will accompany us and share words about the significance of a shared culture of grieving. Janna’s insights provide a framework for the evening and invite us to understand grief as an important part of life, to view it in community, and to consider what culture-making involves.
The evening of songs is a loving invitation to come together and experience music that nourishes the soul. We look forward to sharing this special evening with you.
Please note: This evening is NOT a grief ritual or a space for mourning.
